Nightmares: the Scary Truth

What keeps you up at night with fright.

Nightmares: the Scary Truth

We have all had nightmare or two on an occasion. The problem is when the nightmares start to become frequent. Nightmares are a sign of poor digestion. Eating too close to bedtime can cause nightmares and disturbed sleep. Try to eat at least 4-5 hours before bedtime. If you did eat too close to bedtime be sure to lay on your right side to aid in digestion when you sleep. If your child is having night terrors find out if they are having at least one regular bowel movement/day. Be sure they are not eating too much before bedtime and increase their intake of both water and fruits and vegetables.
